2. I urge you, brothers, to look at this world and not be deceived by its vanity, for everything in the world is vanity. Do not set your hearts on perishable things, but rather pursue God, who is your true joy.
3. Anyone who cares about temporal things and forgets about eternal things is lost in empty vanity. Know that true satisfaction lies not in riches, pleasures, or the glory of this world, but in the Lord Jesus Christ.
4. Therefore, brothers, pray without ceasing, purify your hearts, that they may be free from worries and cares, and that the peace of God may dwell in them. Any worry about tomorrow is wrath and wickedness, for it deprives you of your firm hope in God.
5. Do not worry about what you will eat or drink, do not burden yourselves with the things of this world, but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things will be added to you. If you seek God, everything else will become secondary.
6. Do not let your heart be divided between the world and God, for he who serves two masters cannot stand. Let each of you abandon all worries, gaining firm faith in God, and your life will be filled with peace and light.
7. For everything is vanity and fleeting, but those who live by faith will abide in eternal life. Guard your hearts from temptations, for the vanity of this world only distracts you from the true purpose of life, and the Lord is the only source of true joy.
8. So, brethren, when the world begins to frighten you, when the cares of the world around you begin to fill your heart with anxiety, remember the words of the Savior: "Do not worry, for your Father in heaven knows what you need." Worship God, and He will teach you rest.
9. Therefore, may the peace of God protect you, may it fill your hearts with light and quiet, may it deliver you from vanity, so that you may dwell in joy and the confidence that God cares for each of you.
10. Remember that your life is not only the body and its needs, but above all the soul, which was created for eternity. Do not let worldly cares weigh down your soul, but entrust everything to God.
11. Pray without ceasing, and may your prayer be pure and undefiled, may the peace that only God gives, and not the vanity of this world, abide in you.
12. My brothers, seek God with all your heart, and rest in His hands. He will be your salvation and strength in the most difficult moments of life. May the Lord bless you on your journey to overcome all cares and vanities, and may He fill your hearts with peace and rest.
13. My brothers, do not let the cares of this world fill your heart to the brim, for it, like a vessel, must be filled only with God's love. And do not disturb what is good for your soul, but seek first the Kingdom of God.
14. Understand that the vanity of this world is a reflection of human pride, vanity, and fear that all life will be measured only by what is visible. But God's children are not like this, for they live by faith, not by sight, and abide in a peace that is not measured by time and space.
15. And if the worries of this world and seemingly urgent matters fill you with confusion, remember that God knows your every need, and He, like the Good Shepherd, will not abandon you, but will guide your steps in the path of peace and truth.
16. For, brothers, in each of your days there can be room for prayer, room for God's word. Seek Him not in vanity, but in silence and peace, and you will find Him in your heart.
17. Believe that through prayer and the renewal of your mind directed toward God, you will be freed from the shackles of this world and find true freedom—freedom from vanity, from the worries and cares that oppress your heart.
18. Remember the words of the Lord: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you." He who dedicates his life to God will find true satisfaction, for his soul will be filled with what is not of this world, but of God.
19. Lead a life of self-control and piety, and do not become absorbed in petty concerns. Free your mind from thoughts of what you might lose or what you need to gain, for all of this will disappear, and you will remain with God.
20. Live truthfully and in peace with God, and all anxiety about the future will disappear. Do not pursue vain things, but abide in the Lord, for He is your life and your reward.
21. Therefore, do not fear hardships and losses, for they cannot take away what is truly important. God is with you in all trials and worries, and His care for you is great. Do not be afraid to trust in Him, for He will arrange your paths.
22. Pray then with faith, and your heart will be free from vanity, for the peace of God will reign there. Pray with gratitude, and you will see all the shadows of doubt and anxiety disappear, and God's light dawn.
23. I bless you, brothers, on this journey. May your hearts be filled with peace, and may your lives be a testimony to how God pleases to arrange His affairs amid the vanity of the world, making you a light to others.
24. For may the peace, joy, and love that come from God the Father be with you, and may He keep you in truth and peace. Amen.
